The project ETHNO CAMP is a summer seminar with music workshops, and is held every year on different locations. This year it is Ohrid. The idea is to focus on rural areas, so that participants could be closer with the traditional forms ofmacedonian culture.

The ETHNO CAMP is a possibility for all the participants who come from different countries of the world to express and present their own culture, tradition and folklore, through different elements of all material and spiritual culture. That will happen through musical workshops, theoretical and professional lecturings, visiting of cultural manifestations and historical monuments, and also through organization of tribunes.

The ethno Camp's participants are mainly young musicians from different parts of the world, and people who belong to different cultures and traditions.

The music they create or perform usually has common elements with the folklore, so they have optimal knowledge of folkloristic science areas.

Expected participants

* the organizer invites participants from Macedonia and from other countries in the world.

* as lecturers, instructors and leaders of the workshops ethno musicians, ethnologists, historians and musicians (instrumentalists and vocahsts) are expected to participate. Planned participants from other countries are around 40.

• participants should not be over 27 years of age

• participants cover their transportation costs to and from Skopje, Macedonia

• organizer covers transportation costs from Skopje to Ohrid and back as well as accommodation and meals
